Make Your Art No Matter What

In August 2025, I co-created Make Your Art No Matter What, a creative workshop at

Compound in Long Beach, California.

The workshop was an invitation to get out of our heads and back into the practice of making—to put down the perfect plan, work with what we had, and make something anyway.

We spent the day experimenting, playing, and thinking together about what it means to build a creative life in the real world.

The project grew out of a simple belief: you don't have to wait for the right circumstances to make your art.

You can begin with what’s already in your hands.
