The Studio

In the Fall of 2019 I was at the height of my wedding photography game and writing 20 hours a week. I was interested in pursuing a more passive form of income by way of an hourly rental studio for events. I used my creative eye and instincts to create a versatile space that was welcoming and maximized every angle for new aesthetic possibilities.
The “plant crown” hanging above the dining table is custom made by our dear friend, Luke Lourigan. With more time it would have filled out to have the pothos overflowing and adding a sense of drama to the space.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, this project was short-lived as in-person shooting and meetings became impossible.
Jefferson Ave Apartment

Jefferson Avenue was our home for 3 years, from 2017-2020. Here our style found a new iteration amongst the 1910’s moldings and details. During our time here we hosted many (many, many) events that formed some of my fondest memories. Events ranged from a custom-tailoring session for gender-non-conforming people to supper clubs to vision board days and social brunches. This home felt like a Parisian parlor.
In the fall of 2018 we renovated the kitchen and bathroom with only the help of our loving handyman, Devon. We stained and cut the butcher block counter tops and painted all of the cabinets from the kitchen, right there in the living room. We retiled the shower and installed a new bathroom sink.
